INFOZONE
Congratulations on your decision to beautify your precious body! Please take your time when browsing through Bonito’s Info Zone, as you will encounter some basic, yet very crucial information to help you prepare ahead of time, and have the perfect garments on hand when you are having your surgery.
If you had surgery, inform yourself under “Info Zone: The Three Post-Op Stages”, for which Post-Op Stage you qualify, so you know what type of compression you need.
If a garment does not fit properly, you will not want to wear it, therefore, ensure you have the right size. Measure yourself carefully by using our icon “How to Measure”, so you can properly select your standard size for your Post-Op Stage.
If you have a balanced shape, and your measurements are off by a couple of inches with our size estimator, there is no need to get a Custom Made Garment for your Post-Op Stages One and Two, as these stages as well as the garments are temporary. You may want to consider getting a Custom Made Garment for your Stage Three for a perfect fit, as this garment may become a permanent Shapewear Garment. Please do keep in mind that it is possible to outgrow the Stage Three Garment, if your body continues to change and slim down a lot during weeks 6-12.
If you have an unbalanced shape (for ex. smaller on top, bigger on bottom), you will need Custom Made garments for all your stages, to ensure you receive the proper compression in all areas of your body.
Please ensure you order three weeks in advance. If you decide to go for a Custom Made Garment for perfect fit, Bonito charges 40% more, as as there is no pattern readily available to craft your Custom Made Garment. Our Couturiers will have to design and hand tailor your Garment from scratch as per your measurements, which is what constitutes the 40%. Please be aware that if you decide to go with a Standard Size instead of a Custom Made Garment to avoid the 40% additional charge, it could result in having a garment that will bunch up, and/or be too short or too long, and not afford you the comfort and compression you need.
ATTENTION: Please ensure that your measurements are as accurate as possible, as Custom Made garments will be as good as the measurements we receive. Custom Made Garments are non-returnable. If your body outgrew a Custom Made Garment, it cannot be returned to have it adjusted. You have the option of taking it to your local seamstress to have it adjusted, or you can order a new Custom Made Garment.
Please keep in mind that our recommendations are based on a patient with a standard healthy and swift recovery process. All patients always need to follow their surgeon’s instructions.
